Burnout

Sometimes in life we find ourselves needing a rest. Have you ever woken up one day and said to yourself
I just cant do this anymore ?
This is called emotional and empathic burnout.
It happens very subtly.
We find ourselves with a feeling of dread waking up in the night, waiting for the sun to come out and the dawn chorus to start awaking the earth.
Its emotional and physical exhaustion. The Sacred Forest Retreat is a respite and rest that would benefit you in Nature.

Grief

Grief is a journey of new beginnings. With my help and experience I can guide you to a place of serenity. I can help you awaken and open new doors of discovery for your  future years. Grief comes in many forms. You are not alone. You can't out run grief, it's faster than you. It is like a storm, but the quiet and serenity will come. It takes time, comfort and support with people you trust. Start your journey today.

Emotions and Anxiety

Life on life's terms is not always easy. There are times when our past experiences as a child growing up have a big effect on our lives and who we have become. It molds us into some one we do not understand. We feel displaced on this earth. Anxiety is complex but treatable if you allow yourself to surrender. Nature is your healer.

HEAR ME: R H Rose.
Hear Me is a survival story about my mother and I through our lives. Its raw and true. A straight narrative.
A mother and daughter caught up in their story. A daughter telling the story of her mothers life in Dunedin in the 1900s and hers from 1950s onwards. This book is to support women to come forward and speak of their pain that they have carried for a lifetime.
Hear Me is just as it says . I am not afraid to speak out.

I don't know what lies around the bend, but I'm going to believe the best does.

ABOUT ME

My name is Rosemary Reece-Morgan I am a 75 year old Kiwi with a missionary heart. I have 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. I have a wealth of background in care giving.  I  was raised by a Gallipoli war veteran with PTSD and a talented musical Christian mother who was a wonderful woman. I was the last of 7 children post Second World War in a time when money was scarce. My parents and Mum's family were missionaries and so I was very young when I was called to serve. I embraced Mental Health Nursing beginning in the old Oakley asylum days. I also had a strong passion for nursing the elderly and owned and operated my own rest home.

I embraced the alternative organic hippy ways  as a young person and got into alternative medicine, yoga, and meditation. I was trained by guru Mrs. Sharp for many years. She bought me into the discipline and lifestyle of vegetarianism, yoga, and meditation. This was life changing for me as a person. I also lived the life of with a very addictive personality which got me into trouble on occasion. I ate for comfort  and suffered with weight gain and loss constantly. I now eat to live.

I studied under the University of Sedona Department of Metaphysics for 7 years, passing many papers and becoming a Minister. And have recently in 2022 become Msc.D of Metaphysical Science. I am a spiritual seeker looking for the truth. I sang up front in many great bands, I ran businesses, and generally in life I have always been a leader of some sort.  I have always had a very strong compassion and empathy for alcoholics and addicts and people in need of someone to download to. I was trained by Tom Claunch who was a founder of Addiction Studies from America. I worked alongside Tom as an alcohol and drug clinician for many years at Capri hospital. It was an awesome experience. I also did four years of study in Mental Health, Grief, and Addiction Studies finishing at a post graduate level at the University of Auckland. I was later the Program Director, then CEO, of The Retreat NZ in Auckland for 4 years until March 2017. Addiction recovery is a very sacred journey and needs to be in a place of privacy and confidentiality. I have retired from 20 years of addiction  and mental work. I am now open to receive people that need a rest from life at a reasonable daily rate. You will be looked after  and cooked for. I am also here to chat to if that is what you require. You can paint or play music or just rest eat and read quietly, your choice. It is an environment full of ambience and love .
